The WiFli Student Response System will work on any post-1996 internet capable device, regardless of platform, that will allow for student input by selecting or entering a response. Internet service is required. Wireless network may be necessary for non-3G/4G devices. To view the teacher dashboard graphs, a computer works best.
There is not a self-paced question set function to WiFli Student Response System. You could just do a Google Form test on your own and grade it with flubaroo or use my free Google Forms assessment system available by clicking here.
Show them how to access the WiFli Student Response System link in your classroom resources. Update your class list spreadsheet with your new students if you are using the class list feature.
No. The system will no longer consider student response sets that are beyond the past 10 questions.
At times it does seem like the system slows down when the past responses build up. There is now a menu option in the WiFli menu that will remove all past student responses.
From the webapp you can share the goo.gl URL, tweet the link or have students scan the QR code from the goo.gl stats page. Copy the address and share with your students on a website, in an email or some other place students can quickly access it. This will be the only link you'll ever need to share with students for this system. Encourage students to make a shortcut to it on their devices for fast future access.
Click on the start button. If you want to set a correct answer, type it into the answer box before clicking on start.
From the web app click on the small students icon. From here you can add in student last names for each class. First names/initials are only necessary if you have more than one student in the same class with the same last name.
This is a great way to know what students have not yet submitted their response. If a student mistypes their name it is possible that it will not pick up that they have completed their class question. This could also be used as a quick classroom attendance procedure.
Due to its already low cost and the fact that the WiFli Student Response System has no hidden code there is no refund for the individual user license of $5. It is recommended that prior to purchasing a school or district wide license an individual teacher license is purchased to make sure your school network capabilities can support such a tool.
